Workshops for primary school children under the project “Buy, Use, Clean” focused on learning about different types of waste, from its generation to disposal, so that the workshop participants understand the cycle of circulation of all the objects we use.
Through group work, children discussed and argued which of the methods (prevention, separate collection, composting or reuse) is best for a particular item (waste).
The activities of the workshop were also focused on sensitizing participants to the consequences of (incorrect) waste management, encouraging environmental choices and a proactive attitude in environmental and nature protection.
The workshop was conducted by educators from the association Bioteka, prof. of Biology Kristina Duvnjak and M.Sc. ecology Antonio Creatures.
